Christmas Cacophony Curtailed!

I know where I’ll be shopping from now on when in need of a pharmacy!

Way to go Shoppers Drug Mart! At least one retail outlet realises that not everyone wants to listen to crappy Xmas music 2 months in advance of the date!

They’re putting it back on next week, so it was just a short reprieve.

Any store that will shelve the christmas crap till Dec 1st gets my vote. I used to work retail and if you think this bugs customers you should feel what its like to have the same 20 carols played over and over for 8 to 12 hours a day. When I was subjected to it,centuries ago it was only for dec I can’t believe the staff now don’t go berserk by the end of the season pf giving/spending.

  4. Sorry Trashy, but “Way to go Shoppers Drug Mart!” does not really cover it. Shoppers Drug Mart made a decision to stop the music that was alienating customers. Customers is the operative word here and many people like you will read about SDM’s decision and will start or continue to shop at SDM. SDM received lots of free advertizing by turning off Christmas music for a few days/weeks.

Way to go Shoppers Drug Mart! You made a great marketing decision!
