Ted Nugent is a moron…

… plain and simple.

At the National Rifle Association convention, Nugent had said, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

“We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November… Our president, attorney general, our vice president, Hillary Clinton — they’re criminals, they’re criminals,” he added.

The Secret Service is looking into this. As a sidebar, if they are so damned secret, how come everyone knows about them?

But seriously, as much as I abhor the ground that dweebs like Jason Kenney, Vic Toews, Pierre Polievre et al trod upon, I would NEVER advocate violence of ANY kind against them!

Aren’t there laws against threats like these in the States?

What a pathetic excuse for a human being…

  1. Nugent has been batshit crazy for at least 20 years. Even in the 80’s he was just weird to regular crazy.

Now that Charlton Heston is out of the picture, the crazies at the NRA need a new spokesman anyway.

It all goes wit the territory now. The concept of a “loyal” opposition is being replaced with comments like Toews a few weeks ago, “you stand with us or the pornographers”. When the pols talk like this it gives others the idea they can advocate violence to stop the “others”. THe day has passed when someone in politics can say I disagree with you without belittling and insulting the opponent. Then a drugged up fool like Nugent feels it is perfectly OK to recommend beheading a politician he disagrees with. I was under the opinion that one of the great things about democracy is that you can change your government without needing to kill the leadership. Apparently we are regressing to the point where death is necessary. In Nugent’s case this is about the right to bare arms which no one has yet said they want to limit. The NRA has been on message for a year or so saying that if Obama is reelected he will go after the guns but he himself has never said anything of the kind. Before his election in 2008 the NRa was telling the same tale. It must be tiring to be so paranoid and scared all the time.
