How about free tickets?

That would be better than a half-assed corporate letter of mea culpa!

I’m sorry… I see what they are trying to do, but like their February swoon, they come up miserably short.

Don’t want to even think about hockey until next year.

They can’t even get it right in their pr puff pieces. They are focused on producing a “successful playoff team”, “a team that competes with the NHL’s best”. How about focusing on producing a team that “WINS THE STANLEY CUP!”. No wonder they can’t succeed they aren’t even understand the concept of winning as opposed to competing. Then again their real goal is to make money so no wonder they can’t find the way to Stanley.

    • They don’t need a good team. They’ve put monkeys on the ice for decades and there’s still a generation-long waiting list for tickets.

As long as Leafs fans are prepared to pay top dollar for a shit product, the Leafs will continue to suck, and use their money to prevent some place like Hamilton from getting a team that might not suck and steal revenue from them.

Leafs fans get EXACTLY what they want. They did this year, and every year since 1967.
