Ade Olumide vs. Randall Denley – in a cage match!

Well, that would be one way to settle this.

OR, Hudak could just subvert his own party’s nomination process.

Gee, which one will he pick… hmmm….

Ya know, even though I am not a supporter of Hudak and his merry band of wanna-be’s, I  feel for Mr. Olumide.

For some reason (I think it has to do with a property tax group I signed on to when I ran for the OCDSB last fall), I received this email yesterday:

Ade Olumide is still in the running as Ontario PC Candidate for Ottawa West Nepean

I was told by a party official that there will be no nomination, Tim Hudak was obviously not consulted before this official free lanced on the democratic rights of the membership. As previously stated Tim Hudak is an excellent leader, I ask all my supporters to get behind him and I look forward to doing everything within my abilities to ensure that he is the next Premier of Ontario.

In light of the new information that there will be a nomination, several call and emails from the supporters, I have no choice but to seek the nomination for Ottawa West Nepean. I regret to make this announcement because I have the utmost admiration and respect for Mr. Denley, more importantly we agree on many issues.

I kindly ask all supporters not criticize Mr. Denley, lets have clean race focused on ideas, and the winner will be a better person after the process.

Bob Chiarelli is surely quaking in his boots.

and this one this morning:

Future of Ade Olumide’s Ideas on Property Taxes & Hydro Bills

I was informed last night by the President of The Ontario PC Party in writing that I will not be allowed to contest the Party nomination in Ottawa West Nepean.

I was also informed that they will “find another venue for me to be part of the 2011 team”.

I encourage all my supporters to get behind the candidacy of Randall Denley; please remember that Mr. Denley is a supporter of OTAG’s No New Money and Departmental Budget Freeze. I look forward to meeting him to discuss some of our ideas on property taxes and hydro bills.

I will personally do all I can to ensure that Mr. Denley is elected and we have a Tim Hudak Ontario PC Majority Government.

To my volunteers, members and supporters I say a heart felt thank you; I recognize this news is very disappointing. Ontarians cannot afford the high tax high spending big government of the Chiarelli McGuinty Regime. There might be another venue for us to advance the ideas we believe in, so let’s keep up the fight for all taxpayers and hydro rate payers.

Ade Olumide

So much for the whole grass-roots democracy thing, eh, Timmy?
