With my heart, or my head?

And, unbelievably, I may switch my vote at the last moment. I truly do admire and respect my Grit MP, but can I support the party that he represents?

For a pacifist like me, it is difficult. The Grits did support sending young Canadian men and women into that cesspool called Afghanistan. And only one federalist party opposed this.

Tough decision.

But I do know my vote will not be for the Harper Party. Lose your leader, CPC. You’ll get a lot more support.

I’ll put up a few more posts as the day goes on. One to remind one and all why a vote for Harper is a vote for the politics of fear and exclusion. One on some high level observations on the campaign, and finally, I will dust off the dartboard and make some fearless predictions.

Hang on, folks, it’s gonna be a helluva ride!

    Your heart.

Politics has never been, and never will be, a rational logical thing. Politics effect people on a very personal level. So, in my opinion, you have to vote for what you think is right.

If I can get my thoughts organized today, I’ve got a post regarding this very topic.
