Sure I’ll join – even if I have ceased my bus riding! And if someone wants to design a logo, I’ll plunk it on my blog. And I’ll help in any other way to organize this thing. Someone has to take the lead – are you gonna do that?
Hopped up security guards, frustrated mall cops, rent-a-cops, whatever… all I am sure is that their egos are likely the size of one of those slinky-buses!

“Boing” – I’m LOLing…and I really, really hate to use that term. We’re going to start that amalgamated transit riders’ union. Wanna join? But seriously, what is the deal with those special constables? They don’t have guns, so they’re not real police and yet they act as if they were some sort of secret police force ( that’s what the Gestapo stands for). You never see one alone – they’re always in packs of 4or 5 and they always walk really fast. When we first moved to Ottawa, we were on a bus that was invaded by the Gestranspo and they scared the shit out of us. I didn’t know what the hell was going on – this gang of 6 uniformed guys racing through the bus aisles. I thought we’d been bus-jacked or there was some sort of international incident or something. Freaked me right out. They’re so damn weird. I don’t get the posturing or even the reason for their existence. They have special constable cars and everything. Pepper spray for god’s sake. For bus police? They’re just hopped up security guards aren’t they?
